Markers can be added to audio files to quickly skip to specific positions while practicing your instrument.

Adding a new marker

  1. While the audio file is playing, click on the Add marker button in the Loops and Markers section.

  2. Type a name for the marker in the Name text box.

  3. Select a position for the marker by either typing the position or clicking on the Punch in button. The Punch in button will enter the current position in the Position text box.

  4. Add a comment in the Comments text box (not mandatory).

  5. Click on the Save button and close the window.

A new marker has been created and can be used during playback.

Editing a marker

  1. While the audio file is playing, select the marker in the the Loops and Markers section and click on the Edit marker button.

  2. Change the marker position by either typing the position or clicking on the Punch in button. The Punch in button will enter the current position in the Position text box.

  3. Click on the Save button and close the window.

The marker has been updated.

Removing a marker

  • While the audio file is playing, select the marker in the the Loops and Markers section and click on the Remove marker button.

The marker has been removed.

Skip to a marker position

  • While the audio file is playing, select the marker in the the Loops and Markers section and click on the Go to button.

    or

    While the audio file is playing, double-click on the marker in the the Loops and Markers section.

The current song position has been skipped to the marker position.
